Scope

NFCorpus is one of the component evaluation datasets included in BEIR. It should be distinguished from BEIR as a benchmark suite and from qrels as the relevance-judgment component of the dataset.

Not equivalent to

  • NFCorpus is not BEIR. NFCorpus is a component evaluation dataset; BEIR is the benchmark suite that includes NFCorpus among other datasets.
  • NFCorpus is not Qrels. NFCorpus includes relevance judgments; qrels are the judgment files, not the dataset identity.
